It took me awhile, but I finally managed to convince my husband to go to my hair salon for his hair cuts instead of the usual "Great Clips" or what have you.
I recently went for a hair cut, and while I was on my way, I asked, "Do you want me to make you an appt.?" and somehow managed to convince him that the scalp and neck massage during the shampoo (never mind the better cut itself) would be worth it.
Went for my hair cut on Wednesday morning, and managed to get him a hair cut appt. on Friday (his day off).
He comes back with a super-stylish hair cut, and saunters into my office....singing, "I'm too sexy for my car, I'm too sexy for my clothes" and so on.
It was *hilarious*.
I added, "I'm too sexy for my wife, I'm too sexy for my life..."
We had a good laugh about it all. We even sang, "I'm too sexy for my dog" and so forth. Gus (our big black lab) just wagged at us and wiggled around, dancing with us, thinking there was something fun going on.
His hair looks *great*, and I'm so glad he agreed that it was better to go to a 'good' hair place for a change.
Anyway, I just thought it was funny that it took me so long to convince DH to go to my hair salon for his hair cuts, and it was hilarious that he ends up waltzing back into the house afterwards, singing, "I'm too sexy....."
Just for the record, he's not serious - just that he was teasing me because I *made* him go to my hair salon instead of the usual cheapie place for once.

PS - he liked it so much that he booked his next hair cut appt. while he was paying for his cut. I'd suggested this - that if he felt comfortable with the place and liked the cut, that it would be easier and better to just book his next appt. right on the spot.
