This is what, I believe, you would call irregular outfit juxtaposition! I had kicked my shoes (gently) off at the end of an 11 hour day and Ethan said "I know they look good and all, but why would you buy shoes that hurt?" and then he promptly put them on! I tried to convince him that I do actually pass up shoes that hurt in favor of reasonably comfortable ones - these being some of the more comfortable ones that I have - but at the end of a long day, my feet are ready to have all shoes off. Bonus pics of the harrowing obstacle course my shoes faced this morning when had to swing by my boss' house. I successfully made it through, jumping over the puddle from my car, and across the cobblestones of death... only to scuff a heel in the parking lot at work. Grrrrrr.
