As the year wraps up and most of us are done with shopping, I thought it might be fun to see what in your closet was a total hit and what was a huge miss.
For me, the biggest miss, sadly, was a much debated and sought after maxi dress. It's not the maxi style that was a miss, but rather the jersey in white being both somewhat unforgiving and also feeling too pristine to actually wear. Still hanging, still has it's tags on
The hit was either my purple shorts, or distressed Vigoss jeans. I think it's a tie. Mostly because I moved, and changed climates, so the shorts got into heavy rotation, fast. Had I stayed in Tahoe, the jeans would have come out #1 for sure. Interestingly, they are the cheapest jeans I own. Go figure. I actually spied them on a customer at my bar and asked her about them, after complimenting her. Had been searching high and low online for some and returned at least half a dozen pairs by then.
Also worth noting, was the dress was off eBay and not returnable. I'm learning that no returns is a place I just can't go unless I'm positive the item fits before ordering. The possible savings aren't worth you left holding the bag, so to speak.

Oh, and for accessories, my geometric necklace was a home run. I only wish it would fit on different chain lengths so I could wear it with every neck line imaginable.
