Well, I don't need much in my closet. And the two clothing items I wanted (brown halogen faux jacket and the darted Nordstrom white shirt) were sold out in my sizes before I got on the ball and checked. And my backup item was also sold out! (PJs). I liked the shorts, but they didn't make my heart sing. I always like to have one hero item from NAS.

So I ended up with a pair of green gemstone earrings and a nice pair of Donald Pliner snake booties in a somewhat western-style.

Boots: I have been on the hunt for a western-inspired boot or bootie for months, which is how I identified this bootie as an option. It was pretty spendy, so I knew if I purchased it, it would be pretty much my only purchase. Since everything else I had my eye on was sold out, I decided to go for it. I at first thought I'd go for the dark brown color, but I already have a pair of clog booties in that shade, and I wanted something a little warmer. These have shades of brown, so they should work. I don't really wear congac/sand/tan type colors. These seem like they'll be a good, high quality, long term, comfortable option for fall.

Earrings: I have a number of green and green-leaning pieces, and only one pair of green earrings which sometimes don't "go". These were a great deal and I like argento vivo quality.

The other things I found were on normal clearance sale! I've had my eye on this beautiful and spendy lace polo from polo ralph lauren for months. only a few left, they were in my size, and on sale! So that explains why my NAS budget was soooo restricted. Even on sale it was a bit outside my normal price range. But this item will fit perfectly into my style. I've already worn it twice! (-:

And lastly, my favorite bra. The one I own is getting stretched out, and this bra is on sale in navy for NAS. It was ALSO secretly on sale in my favorite blush color on clearance! So that was a no-brainer.

I figured I'll stalk my misses and hope they restoke and go on clearance for labor day. (-;

ETA, I also snapped up some new wash rags (these are hubby's favorite and he needs new ones) and some nice candles for my house. Again, great deals on items that rarely are on sale.
