Been off the computer for a few days... Friday was the day's my friend's company was shooting a bank commercial. I had to be there all day. I was supposed to be a bank customer meeting with their special business financial planners. They'd asked us to dress in business suits, so I brought a bunch of boring court wear, but as it turned out the lighting wasn't good enough - so I drove home and got my red-orange blazer! It was surprisingly grueling to be there all day, waiting and then on camera. Not at all glamorous, either.

This weekend we went to our cabin and did a beautiful hike. My husband also practiced with his new camera, using me and our son as subjects. Ever notice how amazing everyone seemed to look back when black and white photography was the norm? I'm posting a photo here to show how that works - this is a candid photo of me that he shot after plaguing me to look up from my book. Also, my son, the dog stalking a chunk of glacier ice, and some scenery!
