juniors' clothing

I have been venturing into the juniors clothing sections recently and find that as long as I can find a large enough size, their pants fit me well because of the low front rise.

So, are there any brands that make good quality juniors' clothing?

I have 4 pairs of Dickie's Girl pants that fit great and have held up over the years. a few have been worn as restaurant uniforms - and you know that involves wear and tear!

Angie, I tried out pants in Delia's, American Eagle and Jolt brand at Nordstroms. AE was okay quality but the materials are still too scratchy.

Mo, looks like JCP stocks Dickies so I will give those a try.

My little sister really liked Hollister while in high school. There are plenty of low-rise styles in misses brands, though, and I think the quality is better. My Hudsons, Luckys, Miss Sixtys, etc. all have a 6.5-7 inch rise (I am very short-waisted).

Rae, Do you mind sharing what size you wear? Even the low-rise pants in Sizes 6/8 tend to have a rise that is too high for me. 8" is what works best for me.

Elpgal, I think quite a few premium denim brands have low rises. True Religion ($180 - 250) and Hudson ($150-180) especially. In the Jrs jeans area, I have a pair of Silver jeans ($69-99) that are low rise and well made. But my favorite Jr. type jeans are a Canadian brand called Domino. I don't know if they are strictly a Jrs. brand, but they are good quality for the money. I personally have a really hard time with H&M jeans (whereas other H&M things like their jackets are great). The other Jr.s jeans I have purchased in years past with success have included Bubblegum brand, Levis, and Target. I much prefer Levi's Jr. jeans to their womens jeans, they fit me better.

Thanks Denise. Your reply reminded me that I need to try out the pants in Target now that they have them sorted by the Fit rating.
