When all the buzz happened about having an SYC June, and a number of people jumped on board, I also did, but wanted to make it more than just SYC. It took me a day or two to figure out what I wanted to do, and then life got busy, and I never actually 'fessed up. But here we go:

1. SYC. With the caveat that I had a few packages on the way.
2. Wear and enjoy my new clothes. I had a bit of a Blow Out May, which put last year's June extravaganza to shame. We had the longest transition EVER to decent weather, so new spring/summer things just weren't being worn. Yet I kept shopping. So I have quite a pile of things with tags to cut off!
3. Don't go out of the house wearing things I wouldn't go out of the house in. Really.

And how am I doing, two weeks in? Not bad! I have been too busy to pull together a WIW post, but I will.

1. I have done very well at not shopping. It's amazing how this becomes a habit, not really based on anything. Almost a chore at times... that's how you know you've gone too far. I did "allow" myself a couple of HEWI's, should they show up, and one did... navy sandals. But they are going back. So I don't know if that counts or not.. I guess it's a win for the budget but not necessarily a win for stopping the need to shop.
2. Several new items have been put into circulation, thanks mainly to the weather. And I'm enjoying everything, and finding things easy to style.
3. I've been very good at making sure I look presentable most of the time. This is actually getting much easier as I'm slowly accumulating pieces that are stylish AND comfortable. I've also been spending a bit more effort on nice casual clothes, rather than just work clothes.

And I have to say - I'm really loving my closet at the moment. I would like to get it a bit smaller, just for ease of seeing everything and enjoying everything, but I'm not going to beat myself up over that.
