(Clever title, eh? Except I'm not buying any shoes. Hmm.)

This is the first year I've really participated in the NAS. I'm actually at a pretty good point with my wardrobe, and I'm getting ever more picky as time goes on. But I am needing a bra refresh, and I remembered a couple of holes in my wardrobe from last fall/winter. So I shopped!

Most of my holes are for long sleeve tops, fairly tailored and warm-ish, in pretty colors, particularly pastels. Nice tees and thin sweaters are best. I particularly want them for pairing with patterned vintage skirts and untucked with skinny jeans.

Vince Camuto Bubble Sleeve tee - in red. I love fun sleeves! Volume on top with a tailored waist is usually very flattering for me, and works either untucked with jeans or tucked into a big skirt.

Bobeau Blouson Sleeve top - in emerald green. Small has been sold out since I could order, but I did order a small petite. Despite my height I am shortwaisted with regular arm length, and I have success with short sleeve tops in petite sizes. I love this color and I'm hoping the sleeves will be generous.

Free People Rainbow Thermal tee - in pink, blue, and green. Reviews are dubious on this, but the colors, and color combinations, have home run potential for me. One of my skirts is a gorgeous pale yellow quilted satin that needs a soft but saturated color to balance it; the green may be perfect, if it fits and feels right.

Halogen Knit Cotton Tee - in apricot and red. The apricot is one of the few pastels I found. I'm considering the green, but it is very dark.

1901 Ringer Tee - also in red. I won't keep all of these red shirts even if they all fit, but I wear red a lot in cool weather.

Gibson Blouson Sleeve Fleece Pullover - in pink. I'm desperate for cozy pastels, so I snagged this although it's a wild card. It looks pretty boxy. But I will just have to try it.

I am committed to pink, in case it wasn't clear.

Treasure & Bond Tassel Scarf - in pink. This is a wild card. Historically I do not wear scarves much. I have pretty jewelry they cover up, they tend to fall off my narrow shoulders, and I wear a badge at work. So it gets complicated. But this is one of the most gorgeous colors and prints I've ever seen (with bonus tassels). It also has the potential to lighten up my winter wardrobe in a big way. It leans very, very heavily to burgundy, forest green, navy, and black - which is why I'm so desperate for pastels to pair with things. I can see this scarf going a long way.

Caslon Hooded Tunic - in pink. This is a long shot, both on fit and fabrication. But I love my short dress + leggings combinations.

Cole Haan Back Bow Hooded Raincoat - in pink. My splurge! If it works. I don't strictly have a need for a raincoat, but it's beautiful and I know I will use it. This is one I had to stalk. Thankfully it has shipped.

Most of these are still "Getting Ready" since Friday morning. I'm guessing they're buried in the open access orders from that day. Most of my more recent orders (including the scarf, tunic, and raincoat) are already shipped.

I am also going on vacation from now until August 2. It will be CHRISTMAS when I get back to the house. Boxes galore!
