I bought four things while I was in HK.

The white watch that you've seen it in another thread:

A flat patent bag in grey. Its brand is Le Saunda, I have never heard about it before:

A tan jacket that was inspired by Angie's blog "Jessica Simpson's designer piece" http://youlookfab.com/2008/06/.....ner-piece/

I like the design of the sleeves and the belt. I'm also thinking of getting a wide patent black belt to go with it:

And something I don't know how to call it, it's similar to a shirt dress but a lot more casual, anyway, here it is:

These are great purchases Julia. Since they're mostly neutral colors, in terms of how to wear them, I'd say you can play and experiment with a lot of colors. I know you'd been a bit hesitant to venture into colors in the past, how do you feel about that now?

Yay Julia! Thank you for showing us. I LOVE all your new pieces! Tres chic and very versatile. I’m on the hunt for a grey cracked patent bag too, but first my red one needs replacing.

I think the shirt dress is like “the anorak look”. Wonderfully avant-garde. Different!

The jacket is KILLER. I adore the rose and sleeve detail and the fit is extremely flattering. It’ll look great with the blues you love to sport. You did VERY well

Julia, those are some super purchases. I really like your new bag and jacket. I think a black patent belt would look great. Have you thought about an animal print too (maybe giraffe )?

Sihaya you are so right, I tend to wear neutrals a lot. I'll definitely need to mix these pieces with more colors. Angie's blue/tan combo sounds great, and Dani's giraffe print belt is very interesting, I have a lot to play with this fall.

Go for it - the color that is Perhaps you can start out small like with some purses, shoes, belts etc. and see how that makes you feel. And of course I'd be remiss if I didn't put in a plug for red. It would go so well with your tan jacket and your skin coloring.
