I recently tried Journee brand shoes. I found 3 pairs for a good price. The endorsements seemed high.

Pros:
- a lot of styles are offered in wide widths. (By this, I mean, the actual sole of the shoe is wider, not the calf.)
- a huge style variety in general, from flats, to heels, to booties, to sneakers, to thigh-high boots
- easy-care synthetic materials
- great, sturdy construction quality

Cons
- expensive for non-leather shoes; many of their shoes are going for $80-100+ for non leather synthetics.
- some of the synthetics felt rather cheap to me, especially the knee-high boots I tried
- a lot of styles seem to sell out quickly

Advice: Buy on sale. I didn't pay full price (thank you, Amazon), and after my experience I wouldn't pay full price in the future. The construction quality is really good, but the materials felt a bit cheap, even for non leather. My $1 clearance booties from Walmart were far nicer feeling and looking compared to these--sorry to say.

As for the specific styles I tried.
The stacked heel booties are good and the best of the lot; however, I realize now I no longer love higher heels, and these are 3-3.5" heels. The color though! It's outside my normal choices, but the warm blue is beautiful.

The wedge heels are super cute but I need to size down. Not sure if I like the style enough for myself to bother. I thought I loved little 20s/30s style heels. But idk, they suddenly felt like a style I've outgrown. It was more a reminiscing than excitement in the end.

The knee-high boots are a great disappointment. The synthetic leather used just felt cheap, sorry to say. I was most excited about them. Bummer they didn't live up to expectations.

They're all going back to Amazon.

Anyone else try them?
