I said i would as soon as i used up all of my holiday and birthday gift cards and now i have! Well, i have one more Sephora gift card that i'm trying to figure out what to use on but clothing related anyway.

I'm setting my date until at least March. I'm allowing myself one exception in Feb. to check out Jason Wu for Target because there is a top i have my eye on and tops are what i find hardest to buy for myself.

But then that's it! Nothing until at least March! Keep an eye on me and help me stay strong!

ah, that's right - I *do* have OTK socks coming from a big, long, drawn out return at Karmaloop. 2 months ago I got a skirt and started the exchange, then return process. Almost forgot lol! Hope to put them with my cognac boots and forest green sweaterdress if it ever gets cold here

Mo - See! Socks are fun! I like the types of things Karmaloop carries but i always forget about them and have never placed a purchase yet. Did you have a bad experience?

I've been eyeing a few items from the sneak peeks of that Jason Wu collection myself. I just have to share this: when I started visiting the forum and reading the threads I had the hardest time figuring out what SYC stood for. I finally had it narrowed down to two possibilities- shopping your closet and saving your cash...funny thing is they're kind of one and the same.

I think a YLF online wine party is the best idea ever. I can only imagine the fun topics started that night. XD

Jewell - what pieces are you looking at? I wasn't super interested until someone posted the ad from this month's People Style Watch with the mixed blue print top and skirt. And the white dress looks pretty amazing as well. Hopefully i'm able to find a store that carries this pieces because these collections usually seem to be all over size wise. Oh and i'm pretty sure i had to ask what "SYC" meant as well. My friends and I all say we're "on the wagon" or even more popular "I fell off the wagon today." XD

It was the Feb issue of People StyleWatch. I'm a subscriber and it came this week. They had a whole page of items with prices. The pieces all look feminine and flirty- very "me". I haven't decided which store I'll hit, but I do plan to be there when they open : )

Nicole, the Karmaloop experience hasn't been 'bad' but it's been slow. First off, the exchange for a bigger size skirt had to wait until the first one had been returned, credited, etc. Then the credit for returning the second one took just as long before I could finally use store credit on the the socks. I got my awsome half cowl half turtle neck taupe top there earlier this year for only $8 and I totally love it!
