I've decided to do SYC too, I'm not sure how long. The only exception I'm allowing myself is the perfect winter coat, should I find it. It would be nice to replace some things and it would be easier to get along with the help of a few other new items, but I can do without them if I'm honest.

I need the money to buy my own clarinet, the one I have at the moment is lent by the music school. I've already set aside a sum, but I want to invest in a better instrument from the start, that way I won't have to buy higher quality in the future when I'm going to play with others again. I've talked with my music teacher and he's going to start looking for a suitable instrument. So I'm not sure how long my SYC is going to last, I guess it will depend on how soon he will find something for me and how much it is going to cost in the end.
