I recently purchased some Jockey brand modal camisoles to wear in the evening and for sleep. I have not had them that long and I noticed that they are pilling really badly. Does anyone know what caused that. Is that typical of Jockey products as a whole or do modal fabrics pill terribly?

I have some Jockey things -- not camisoles, but underwear. I have noticed some pilling on the really old ones...but i mean REALLY old (in fact, it is sort of shocking I still have these, but the fit is so good that I keep them despite the pills and they have not worn out!) But on a cami that wouldn't be so nice.

I don't have any jockey things but yes, modal has a tendency to pill. Unfortunately, the softer the fabric is, the more likely it will be to pill.

Thanks, Diana. I am new to modal as a fabric, having just discovered it late last year. I never expected it pill so rapidly. I doubt I will ever purchase it again because it doesn't "look" nice.
