Well, the contract I have turns out to have far more hours left in it than I'd realized (long story) so I won't be able to take the job I'd been interviewing for. It's for the best, though, because I don't think I'm going to be offered it anyway. I don't think my last interview went too well and I know they're now interviewing more candidates. I'm supposed to hear within the next week or two but because of the news about my current contract I'm going to take myself out of the running anyway. I ended up returning my MEXX suit which is fine because I don't need it! I found a grey pinstripe pencil suit for $5 at a consignment store that I'll keep for future interviews etc.

In other news, I've given up all clothes & accessory shopping for Lent (which is now in its second week--it ends in mid-April). I have a bunch of reasons for doing this--financial, spiritual, practical and personal. I'm also trying to make a concerted effort to wear everything in my wardrobe during this time. I hope to figure out what needs to go and what major gaps (if any) I need to fill. I've been doing a TON of wardrobe weeding already and I hope I'll finish it up during Lent. FOr the last few days I've been working on organizing my closet. I'm changing all my hangers to white plastic, moving pants and skirts onto proper hangers, etc.

I haven't had time to post any outfit photos lately or to reply to as many threads as I'd like but I hope to do so again soon--I have a huge backlog of photos on my computer; I just need to get them online. I also still hope to post a batch of swap items soon.

Love to you all!
