Jewelry or Hose needed? - MOTG formal dress

Hi all! I am excited to share this Mother of the Groom pre-wedding day post with everyone. My son's wedding is this Saturday and I am very nervous and excited! It's been a long journey working out this outfit but I am happy with it....I feel rather like Cinderella in this gown..ha ha! I found the dress at Nordstroms in Chicago and it fit perfectly. Then I went on a journey to find a strapless bra to wear with it. Even with a good bra, the dress wouldn't zip with a strapless bra. I considered having a bra sewn in but in the end decided to order a satin shrug and wear my normal bra. I am planning on keeping the shrug on though some people suggested it would be OK to show a black bra. Now I am just wondering if I should wear hose or any jewelry besides my wedding ring?

You look gorgeous! I love the hemline. I dont think you'll need hose unless for warmth. Its too bad a strapless bra didnt work as the dress has a really pretty neckline, however I personally wouldnt want bra straps showing.

You are stunning in that dress! I like it with and without the shrug. I would be tempted to add a sparkly earring (for evening) or perhaps a dramatic pearl drop earring (for daytime). And/or maybe a substantial bracelet. I think you can go without hose, although if you wanted a slightly more finished look, you could wear microfishnets--to me, they feel a lot more comfortable (and airy!) than regular stockings, and they are super subtle, hardly noticeable from a slight distance away.

Marble - Thank you! Yeah, I think it is going to be 69F here Sat and not too much of my legs are exposed so I think I may go without hose.
Firecracker - You are sweet! Good idea on the earrings. I always forget about micro fishnets but I do have some so I may try it out.

The dress is beautiful. It seems a shame to wear a shrug. I'd probably wear a regular black bra. I like Firecracker's suggestions.

Joy - Pic #2 is my regular black bra showing with one of those panels you attach to your bra to hide cleavage. The bra looks OK in the front but in the back it looks like a bra with the metal adjusters in back.
