jewelry makers - lopsided jewelry

I have an elephant pendant that I don't wear because it gets lopsided and the 'trunk' portion tilts downward. Is there anything I can do to fix it? The pendant is made of some sort of metal.

Perhaps attaching it to a flat pendent that will keep it centered. Do you have a photo?

Depending on how and where it attaches to the chain you could fashion a bale with beads to stabilize it. Would really need photos of back for that to confirm.

It could be the hole in which the jump ring is connected is not balanced for the weight of the trunk. You could try a different bail in that hole, or have someone fashion a wrap (loop through hole and wrap wire above to stabilize) or try a cord or ribbon to hang it from that could be knotted at the elephant's hole. Not sure if this makes sense or would work, but worth a try. If you have a bead store nearby they should be able to help out.

Also you could try fashion tape to hold it in place?

Too bad it's off kilter--it's a really nice design!!!!!!!!!
Is the back of the elephant hollow/concave--maybe you can add something back there to weigh down the back for better balance---like maybe a glob of glue (and a bead if there is room and doesn;t touch your skin) or if solid you may need to have some weight ground from the head area--with say a Dremel tool. My ideas are kind of invasive either way.
