Does someone know an on-line source or a store in Toronto area to buy interesting components and materials for jewelry making? I like to design modern pieces and I'd appreciate very much any tips & links from the stylish community. Natalie

Hurrah for another Toronto girl!!
I'm certain there are other options out there, but it may be worth trying a place called Bead Girl at Yonge and Eglinton. The owner is lovely, the staff are friendly and they have an excellent variety of materials. They offer classes, too. The store is just three blocks north of Eglinton station.

If you need findings, I use artbeads.com. They are less expensive than most bead stores. For actual beads, I go to bead shows, but it looks like the style of jewelry you make is very different than mine. I tend to make my jewelry using gemstones, pearls, and wire. Perhaps etsy for the types of materials you seem to use?
