I’ve been sidelined from most of my usual pursuits subsequent to surgery on my left arm 10 days ago. (No gym, swimming, heavy lifting for one month.) So what’s a girl to do? Since I’m mindful of consumption, I perused the local thrift shops to see what’s new. In particular I was looking for a ‘statement’ piece.

I found a ‘vintage’ (?) Anne Klein cashmere sweater that got my heart beating - boat neck, 3/4 sleeves, greens and golden beige in a pattern that mixes other colours I love. Just happens to co-ordinate with my new specs (a turquoise, gold, and purple tortoise pattern).

Here’s a quick outfit lab. #1 with the green pleather pants is a slam dunk. I’m not sure about #2 but might try with navy joggers instead. Do the yellow shoes work? I like #3 and would wear this for bridge night.

Thanks for looking. I’m open to suggestions. My closet items are all in Finds.
