It’s been cooling off here to very pleasant temperatures — not higher than 80 during the day, and down into the 50s at night. Ahhhhh!
Last night I went to happy hour birthday celebration for a lovely friend, and decided it’s time for jeans! I debuted the fab burgundy featherweight Rag & Bone wide-leg jeans that Sharan posted about a while back. I was very eager to wear them.
Paired them with this black Zara asymmetric vest (and a Uniqlo Airism cami underneath because I have a lot more cleavage than this model does). Added my black slingbacks, and a Golden Goose burgundy handbag that I picked up secondhand a little while back, since I’d been keeping an eye out for a simple burgundy bag. Quite matchy and a dark color palette, but I wore silver jewelry to spark it up a bit.
Funny thing was, I got there and one other guest was wearing almost the exact same kind of outfit: black vest as a top and wide-leg jeans, but hers were grey, and her jewelry was gold. She was very stylish, so I felt good. My friend the birthday girl was wearing a white vest as a top too, so clearly that trend is strong in my area!
I didn’t get a chance to take an outfit photo, sorry. I felt great in it though. My husband loves the jeans, which is also a nice bonus!
