I will try to make this simple and direct to the point.
Very shortly, probably next week, I am going to do some volunteer work at the local library. Various duties involved.
Tomorrow is the annual meeting for "Friends of the Library". The meeting is at 10:00 am. A short business meeting, light refreshments and guest speaker. The guest speaker is Elizabeth McHugh, a passenger on the Sully flight that landed in the Hudson River a few years back. I am invited to this meeting and plan to attend. Seems like a case of getting the cart before the horse. Story of my life. I do not know any of the other people in this group, so of course have no clue how anyone will dress.
I do not for see any problem with dressing for the volunteer work. But I am so indecisive about what to wear tomorrow. I thought about wearing creamy white dress pants in a smart casual manner. However, I really would prefer wearing white cropped or long straight jeans in the same manner. I also have nice pink and light blue jeans that I can dress up or down. I will not be wearing a Fedora or hat of any kind!!
I am off now to get a pedicure in case I wear open toe shoes or sandals. By the time I get back, maybe you wonderful ladies will have this sorted for me. Smiley face. Thank you, Love you
