Recommendations for jeans for short and curvy. I usually wear American Eagle in short but need some better quality jeans.

You might be able to find some at Loft. Loft carries petite curvy styles. Ann Taylor used to carry curvy fit, but I don't know that they do anymore. White House Black Market might carry petite curvy jeans, but they might be more expensive than you're looking for.

Loft and Lucky brand are great for short/curvy, but they tend to stretch out a bit, so be careful with sizing.

I've had good luck with Lands End. Their petite jeans have pretty short inseams (26" or 28"), which is great if you are short-legged like me. Sizes run big, so if you are very petite, you might be sized out.

I've found that the current cropped jeans trend has given me a bumper "crop" (lol) of choices. I look for cropped jeans with a 26" or 27" inseam, and no tailor required.

I've had good luck at Loft, I think today everything is 50% off? GAP also works, and also 50% off today, I think.

If you're looking for higher end, then Nordstrom has a slew of cropped jean choices - all at the magical 26" or 27" inseam. (Try Kut from the Kloth, prices are super reasonable and they offer cropped styles, as well as petite sizing. Quality is very good.)

Loft, but what the PP said about the jeans growing. I wear an absurdly small size at Loft, that is absolutely not the size I am anywhere else.

I find Lucky Brand, Gap, Joe's and Paige work for my petite pear shape. Also I use straight leg styles as my "skinny" jeans and I find that cropped jeans often fit me perfectly for the length (ie not cropped on me). Oh, I'm 5'3'.

I bought of girlfriend jeans from the Gap this summer and while great, you need to size down because the waist stretches out completely. I really have luck with Loft curvy jeans.

I have a number of pairs of Banana Republic jeans in petite sizes and have been very happy with the fit.

I am 5' 2" (need about 29" inseam) and have had great luck with Loft Curvy jeans (I currently have 7 new pairs and for the first time I am trying to see which I should return). I have 4 pair I bought 2 years ago and wear daily- they are just starting to look a bit worn.

You might also try cropped jeans which often times work out to be full length for shorter gals.
