A few weeks ago, I posted this question. I'm happy to report that I found some jeans!

I think I have an odd shape; I'm not a true apple and not a true pear but with elements of each ... poochy, baby belly with straight-ish hips (from the front view) and rounded behind (side view).

I went to the GAP ... but at the full price and lack of "ankle" length in my size, I wasn't happy with the fit. I went to TJMaxx and found nothing. I went to Ross, and tried on 8 styles. I was so surprised to find two pair that worked. One is a straight leg by Nine West, but my favorite is Spirit Skinny by Tommy Hilfiger. They are great! I got this in a dark black denim and they are perfect under my boots. Yay!

I sized down, which I've never done, and what a difference. By the day's end, my jeans still fit!
