TL;DR - assessing my current jeans options. Any hits or misses here? Anything not looking very current? Any gaps? What do you think about me replacing the black slim girlfriend pair with a cropped flare?

Hi all, as mentioned in my post earlier this week, assessment my jeans situation is a current goal:
"Experiment to find a new ‘signature’ jean style: FALL TO DO ITEM. This will be a fall project. I currently have slim, straight and wide options in the closet."
Work is light today so doing a try on. I chose three dark tops - one slim fitting, one fluid fitting, one oversized, and two pairs of shoes, one flat and one with a heel to try different fit combos. I think I know what I'm leaning to overall but am curious what others think.
1 - 3: Slim straights. The least current looking of the bunch. I think these might be for the holding zone for now, although I don't mind them.
4 - 7: Straight legs and slightly cropped. I like these but the wash is blah. The slim fit top is my least favourite pairing. I like with both heels and flats.
8 - 11: Wider straight legs. My eye was adjusted to these and I like them, although not with the slim-fit top and flat shoe combo - I feel very squat and square in that one. These feel the most current out of the options I have.
12 - 14: Wide slightly cropped. I much prefer these with the heel. Again, the slim top is not doing it for me. I'm surprised as I thought with so much volume I would want to balance of the slim top.
15 - 16: Slim girlfriend black jeans. I don't know what it is with these jeans - I reach for them often, but then never feel great in them. Weirdly I have them in white as well and wear those happily. I'm considering replacing with a flare or cropped flare with a higher rise.
Ok that's a lot ... thoughts, critique, suggestions, etc. more than welcome - this is learning for me so by all means give me your blunt opinions Thank you! xx
