I'm always on the lookout for denim because it takes many months to find a pair that works. I have loved my AG Beau jeans, a slim boyfriend look, but they're no longer being carried by online stores and seem to be on their way out on the AG site. Until recently, I would have been happy to purchase them again, but noticed that they left dark stains on some new linen utility bags. It seems that a lighter wash would me more clothing friendly.

My recent shortlisted denim haul include the following:

#1: Uneven raw hem, button fly AG jeans. Lots of stretch. I'll probably pass on these because they definitely need a heel, but those who are longer legged should give them a try. They seem to work on both straight and curvy figures.

#2: 100% cotton AG high rise jeans. This is the smaller of two sizes in my possession at the moment. I'm leaning toward keeping it. The denim is very soft and I like the roomy leg, as well as the wash. I haven't worn 100% denim since high school--should I start now?

#3: "Ex-boyfriend" AG jeans. Stretchy, and will definitely need a belt. I'm on the fence about them because of the colour, but I like the fit and could use another pair of non-distressed looser jeans.

Of course, this could all be these fab boots talking, because they make everything look amazing. I had tried these on last year in a size larger, but ultimately returned them. They remained in the back of my mind, though, so I recently reordered them in a size smaller and they fit much better, even with the heel. Very well balanced and no wobbling. They hold the foot securely, and have a wide forefoot that can easily accommodate bunions and even toe spacers. I've managed to walk around inside without any problems, though I wouldn't wear them for a day of errands. I'm still not sure where blisters or pain would develop, so I'll have to reassess tomorrow and wear them for a longer period of time. These may be a winner for the "dressy boot"/local category. I freely admit that they aren't wholly practical, but they make me pretty happy and I don't recall the last time I tried on a pair of heels as "not uncomfortable" as these.
