Jean jacket on the brain!!

Oh you ladies are a bad influence and I mean that in a good way!
I saw this store yesterday but being Family Day in Ontario it was closed so I looked for it on-line and found this jean jacket apparently not yet in stores-LOVE IT!!!!.
My fear is that it is not long waited enuff where the taper is---I will check in store some day and I was wondering if anyone of you may have seen this type of jean jacket in a longer waisted choice in any of your catalogue travels?

gosh, it looks lovely, Patty. I like the distressing down the front. I wonder if it's as shaped IRL as it is in the pic? Sorry can't help with your query, but I'm interested to see how you like it on.
Kim (Queen Mum) did make a comment on a previous thread that she found her cropped denim jacket easier to style that a jacket length. Mine is jacket length and I love it but I've always wondered about Kims comment and have been meaning to try on a cropped length for comparison....mine is Boss Orange, I bought it half price last summer. It's stretch denim, which I prefer...

I also wondered if they shaped/tapered it more to take the photo - worth trying on, because you never know.

I find cropped jackets are easier to style with dresses than with pants. Mine is a slightly cropped length and I find it pretty versatile. That one certainly looks worth trying on, especially if the shape is the way it's shown. Great wash, too! Definitely take a photo for us

Lynne that is a nice jacket you have there---is that considered jacket length? I think the one in the link seems longer which I like. I have a very old cropped jean jacket--what's old is new again LOL--and I'm getting pretty tired of it but will check out QM's post as well.
And yes good point, this jacket could be window dressed to look tapered so I will def get out to see it in person--looks like a nice store to. I can use the shaping in this one--fingers crossed.

There are two things that make me a happy shopper--no one in the store and a sales lady my height/size---we ok three things if you count sales/low prices --but I won't spend if I don't have the first two LOL.
So today the planets were all ligned up and I bought the jean jacket--what a relieve to have it off my brain!!!!!
It is not as tapered as the ad -but still cool.
here I am--coincidentally in the same jeans I wore in my what style am I post.

So does it look ok?
