Living in Canada, I can't try on JCrew clothes. Has anyone seen the Maya cardigan in person?

It looks gorgeous but wondering how it fits, how the sizing is, and if the interesting "twist" on the front looks cool or hideous in person!

I don't know anything about this cardigan, but I think there should be a law that states if an item of clothing shares your name (or middle name...), you should be able to get it for free.

Sorry, that was so unhelpful :p I'm sure Ana will chime in with actual information though!

We just got this in our store the other day (I just started working at J. Crew) - I've been drooling over this sweater and it is very pretty in person as well. Some find the wool content "itchy" but if you like merino and have worn it before you won't notice a thing. The sweater is light-weight, but not sheer, and is hip-length. It is form-fitting but not tight - does that make sense? Also, if you're looking online, the pink guava is not very bright - in person it is a bit brighter and more of a sunrise sort of pink.

Wow, that helps a lot. Thank you, Laura Elizabeth! I have no problem with merino (although, I do love me some cashmere!) and dream of getting this sweater in black and gray: mmmmm Now, if only J Crew could open a few stores in Canada...

I have not yet seen this cardigan in person, but I really want to try it. I went to J. Crew a week or so ago and tried on a bunch of their new stuff. I liked most of it. They didn't have this cardigan in stock yet. I'm thinking that LauraElizabeth's assessment is probably spot on. Does J. Crew not ship to Canada?
