JCrew Fall Lookbook - fun to see and not what I expected!

Lots of interesting looks that aren't what I would have labelled as JCrew. They reminded me more of sidewalk shots from Fashion Week.

Wow! Serious pattern mixing. I love it. I'm totally inspired! JCrew has had a few boring seasons in a row. This feels like a nice, modern shift.

Yeah, it's certainly not their version of preppy (if that's even the right word) style that made them more predictable.

Fantastic lookbook. They do good lookbooks. Very modish / architectural student.

You know, pondering, I believe J. Crew is for preppies who didn't get the memo that preppies are to be quite anti-intellectual... Not that there's anything wrong with that ;>

I love this lookbook. Too bad there's no J Crew here, although they are expensive anyway. I will definitely use these for fall inspiration, though!

rae - everything seems too expensive to start with. Their quality has taken a few hits, and that makes me even more determined to not pay full prices.

I've got to tell y'all, I have a sweater from Forever 21 that is the same green and white as the one in the lookbook. The difference is that it's not a turtleneck cardigan.

Wow that's a really great lookbook! I usually like JCrew for insipration but there are quite a few of these I would straight up wear the whole look. Lots of tonal outfits, lots of texture, LOTS of print. Just what I'm feeling for fall. This makes me wish even more than their fit model wasn't so much straighter than I am *sniffle*

Not usually a jcrew fan -- I feel it's too over priced for clothes that are meh - but these patterns and colors are terrific. I really like the patterned cropped pants (the unflattering length doesn't really bother me). And that burgundy leather jacket is gorgeous!

I'm liking a lot of the coats and blazers. The pants I like too, but they look like they are only for the very straight bottomed (not me, LOL!).

Ah, yes, Aida and Henley - I am far, far from their fit model, even in my shoulders and upper arms!! But with perseverance, and extra % off, some JCrew things have been finding their way into my closet

I hope that'll still work out for these fall/winter things!
