We are so fortunate as DH and I are going to Japan for the Rugby World Cup; DH is a massive Rugby fan, me not very much at all, apart from I love DH and I love Japan, very much! I am only able to go for a few days to Tokyo but DH is going for 2 weeks.

Thank you YLF for the inspiration on a little flip book for wardrobe planning, I can't recall who suggested this, but it looks to work well. I have put together these items and will take two pairs of boots, one white and one black, and an umbrella. I may travel in a long black mohair cardigan, which isn't shown, black trousers and perhaps a button down.

The wild card is the green sparkly pleated skirt, which has been rested for a while. The new cream cardigan is from J Crew and fits perfectly under the yellow blazer, and also with the puffy yellow gilet. I am going to try and do carry on luggage both ways, with a few items may be in DH bag.

So, 5 toppers, 5 tops, 5 bottoms in total; I might add in a couple more tops to allow for spills!

I am so excited to see Tokyo; we went a few years ago for a friends wedding, and we were utterly thrilled by it. All suggestions welcome. I was going to take an umbrella just in case of rain, but not a coat - may be that is a mistake.
