Hi all

January is a time when style and fashion take somewhat of a back seat to high summer. I am out of the habit of WIW but it has all been repeats - wearing the heck out of my hot weather clothing.

I have added one item since the 1st December - walking shoes by Merrell. I had a gap and bought these from a local shop. I have cycling kit on order as well so the start of the year is about gear for me. I deliberately stayed away from the shops for six weeks- and online shopping too.

I have let two essentials go due to wear (both have had three or four years of frequent use) and one dress that I decided I no longer liked.

I am not rushing to replace the tops but I will likely replace at least one in due course. I often shop a fair bit in February so I am sure the urge to shop will return.

I love the Merrill’s so far and look forward to some great hikes in them!!
