January and February 2020 Purchases

I have a few events coming up that require something dressier than jeans. My winter/cold weather capsule is empty for such events. Fortunately, I am in Montreal and I have lots of time to shop.
For the events, I purchased a Sarah Pacini jacket and pants. Both were on sale. I will need to get footwear but I have some ideas. I can wear the jacket and pants together or pants with a sweater.

Great buys! I have a few of those Gap merino sweaters; they are great simple pieces that seem to hold up well in the wash.

Those Sarah Pancini items look so elegant, I can imagine that they will be very versatile too. The tan woollen hat is super cute and a great match for your hair.

TG, Good to hear that the GAP sweaters have held up well. I am tempted to go back for more. For some reason, the olive one is not on the website. My winter wardrobe is pretty sparse. We were in Florida for the last 7 years. Not anymore. It is Montreal now.
Bijou, I think the Sarah Pacini pieces will work for lots of occasions. Yes, the pom pom on the hat matches my hair.

Lisa, I did luck out on the Sarah Pacini pieces. Winter in Montreal has been very mild. Not what we expected. It is sunny and 10 C today. I may need to buy some Birks soon.

I don't have a pattern to my shopping. If I see something that works for me and my budget I buy it. Sometimes I buy a few pieces all at once and sometimes I buy one thing at a time.
