Ha! I've been trying to score a pair of these on ebay for months. (I'm a cheapskate at the moment.) I agree, these could work really well for Janet.

Haha, great minds think alike! Those are in my Nordstrom cart already, along with a couple other pairs to try. I did try on an entirely different pair of DL1961's in a local boutique recently (they were skinnies with stripes down the sides, I just wanted to see how the brand might potentially work for me wrt sizing), and I *think* they run TTS, so I'm going to try just ordering my regular size.

Some of my old jeans are starting to finally look a bit worse for the wear, and I'm tired of skinnies all the time, but there are times when flares/bootcuts are not right either. A nice easy fit in a full-length straight leg is a mythical unicorn these days, so I'll be crossing my fingers and trying these. Thank you for thinking of me!

Kathie, it’s encouraging to hear they work on “muscular” thighs! I will cross fingers. I’m really looking for a style that isn’t so narrow fitting on the thighs and calves, and it’s not easy to find unless you’re going for the “mom jean” look (which is not for me).

I ordered two others to try also (in my Finds).
