I try not to use my car as little as possible on WFH days and over the weekend, so outfits are generally heavily influenced by the weather. Saturday was wet, it was warmer and rainy so slush, puddles and patches of ice. So the outfit started Blundstones. This boots are very functional-easy on easy off, warm and waterproof, easy to walk in, and they have a sort of cool girl vibe. But, Sigh, I miss my old Ecco waterproof high tops. I should have duplicated them but did not know how much I was going to love them. These Ecco’s would have made this outfit so much better. But you wear what you have
Sunday was my book group, and fitting for the weather, this month’s book was “The Frozen River” by Ariel Lawhon. (Interesting read, historical fiction. Generally well liked by the group). Today was snowing and the temperature is starting to drop with the polar vortex staring overnight. I like this sweater because it’s zip and front pockets give it an athleisure vibe, so it can really work with many different outfit
