Nipped in to Nordies for a new bra and managed to find a few other things that I wanted to try. I’ll spare you the photos of the bra. It did come home with me though. One of these days I’m going to get a bra fitting. The dressing room was crazy because it was NAS but one of the fitters was able to assess my size at a glance after seeing me in the wrong band and cup size. What a super power!

1-The fringed jacket is cute—sleeves a little long but decided it wasn’t quite my style.
2-The floral skirt which i loved but too long and too much fabric to be flattering.
3-The Lole raincoat which I love but question the sleeve length. I don’t have a raincoat and if I had one, I would want it to be like this and brown! Please LMK what you think.
4,5,6-The Lole puffer which I’m probably going to order as my everyday fall/winter work jacket to replace my green Uniqlo which I managed to somehow lose.

Oh I love the puffer. Great on you.

I like the raincoat - the sleeves are long but that can be a good thing. I sized up on my two rain jackets - they are a bit oversized but it gives me more layering options. I vote yes!

I think the Lole rain jacket looks good! My friend got it last year and wears the sleeves cuffed.

Also thumbs-up for the puffer. Why are you ordering it? Were you short on time to buy it in the store?

I agree the skirt is a lot of fabric, but such a pretty print on you.

The fringed jacket looks great on you! I could see you rocking it. But it's important to listen to your feelings.

Agree with you on the skirt.

Can the sleeves on a raincoat be turned up? Long sleeves are an issue for me as it’s a common problem for my petit size but it’s not an issue for others, some prefer longer sleeves. Does it bother you much?
May I ask about the sandals you are wearing in the photos?

Thanks, Sal and Sharan! I was feeing rushed and couldn't decide in the store. The dressing rooms were crazy even early-ish on a Saturday AM and I didn't want to dilly dally when there were people waiting for a room.

@Sharan: Love the print of the skirt and 100% cotton. The waistband is smocked and I had it folder over entirely otherwise it was to the floor. Easy alteration but overall thought it was just too much fabric for me.

My hesitation on the rain jacket was the sleeve length. It has a button to cinch at the wrist so I didn't think alteration would work but I could cuff. Lightweight enough for CA or AZ, I think, and it's packable. I like the brown the best. Olive was second but I didn't see it in store so couldn't compare.

My hesitation on the puffer is the hood--although my hair is shorter so it probably wouldn't get in the way. Fit was good. I think if I went up to a medium, the sleeves would be too long. The puffer it would replace was something I could layer over so this would function differently--so I was kind of debating about that too.

I'm the queen of indecisive lately--when it comes to fashion. I feel like I'm still trying to find my mojo.

Thanks, Irina. I prefer the longer sleeves when it's actually raining. I like them longer on my running gear. I do think they can be cuffed now that I think about it.

The sandals are Soul Naturalizer. Freya I wanted a flat toe loop sandal with.a little bit of coverage and these came in wide. I've been wearing them all summer. No break in. I can walk all day in them. They're not leather but I expect they will last a few summers.

The brown raincoat is awesome too! Blast those too long sleeves. Personally, they would drive me bananas - although people are different, as Irina suggests. Hopefully they work cuffed!

I love the fringe jacket and the skirt on you, but yes, they are a bit overwhelming. If you had fallen in love with them I'd encourage you to go ahead and figure out how to make them work. I like the puffer too--perfect for the weather here, but if it you have doubts, there will be many more puffers available in the next few weeks.

It is so tempting to buy something because "it's on sale at such a good price." In my case, the item usually spends way too much time in my closet.

Love the raincoat and puffer , and the sandals ! I don’t mind a longer sleeve on a raincoat - offers that much more protection . Can’t comment on the jacket or skirt as they are out of my wheelhouse .

I’m sorry you don’t want the fringed jacket because 1) it looks so good on you, and 2) we’re going to have a meetup in them later!
The puffer also looks great. The extra long sleeves on the raincoat would be a deal killer for me.

1 - Blast the two long sleeves. Great color on you though.

2 - Another really pretty color palette here. It looks like a lot of fabric though as you've mentioned.

3 - This looks like a great raincoat. Can the sleeves be shortened or cuffed? Does the sleeve length bother you? Sometimes I wear my sleeves long like this, but it depends on how much of my hand is covered. I'll do a little coverage but not my entire hand (hope that makes sense).

4 - This looks like a workhorse in the making. Fit and color are lovely! The length of the sleeve here covers your hand at the exact amount that I prefer for my jackets, some coverage, but not the entire hand.

Assessing a bra size with a glance, now that's impressive!
