First up, my metallic (not quite gold, not quite pewter?) 3/4 sleeve, leather Theory jacket from maybe 6 years ago. It's very cropped, which makes it not the easiest thing to work with, but I think it's working well with a longer top or sweater with not too much volume.
This Zara sweater I purchased before the holidays is magical. The subtle metallic fleck and the black in it blend so well with my wardrobe. I'm so glad I got it. I discovered last night that it goes well with a lot of the jackets and vests I have not been wearing. Combining a current, trendy-ish item with an older piece that has lost some of its novelty is a great way to revive a wardrobe!
It's really cold here today. I started to wear this with my old Frye boots (pic 2) because the tones of the boots and jacket match, but my Ugg Finney moto boots have that fleece inner lining, which makes them warmer. So pic 1 is the final outfit. Pic 5 is bundled up for the outdoors -- with wind chill it's 10 degrees here. Brrr!
