I'm wondering about a good length for jackets for pretty pears - specifically me, with a long back and short legs. This is to wear with straight or bootleg pants, and with knee-length skirts. (And thanks YLFers for encouraging me to take up my skirts.) Perhaps different lengths are needed for different outfits?
Jackets that hit at hipbone height reveal bottom, behind; jackets to mid-thigh look a bit strange with just a few inches of skirt below, especially if I'm wearing boots, which further cut up the line.
Advice please!
