The J Crew tweed jacket arrived in the mail today! I normally wear a 4 petite size in J Crew jackets, but the reviews indicated that the jacket ran small, so I sized up to a 6 petite as I have broad shoulders. I really like the jacket, but am wondering if it fits as it should. I feel there is a bit of room in the back and shoulders, but not a lot. I know it's a boxy shape, so I'm not expecting it to fit there. Does this fit right, or should I try a size down (or is the jacket just not right for me, period)?
I've paired it with the J Crew Paley pant in stretch wool in navy (which also arrived today. Do these need to be shortened?) and Adam Tucker by Me Too sandals.
