I adore the J. Crew light tweed jacket that Angie has posted about. Do you think it would work for someone very busty? The neck looks very high, which is making me think I'd better pass on this one.

I'm pretty busty and I bought it and love it. It runs small, though. I ordered several sizes and ended up with the 10P even though normally I'm a M on top.

Based on Mary's response I would definitely try it. It's so pretty - I love it. (Personally I cannot weigh in on the bust issue as I have almost none. haha)

I loved it the minute I saw it. Tried it on in a typical JCrew size for me, and , I could not get it off fast enough. It is too squarely cut for me - and I have a fairly, um shall we say " good sized" , chest. 34D or DD . I'm also short waisted and have a very definite waist, and this was a complete disaster. I was SO disappointed. Sorry to be a downer ;(

Sorry MsMary I added the photo late, after I had submitted the post. Apologies for not being clearer with my initial description. Funny though, I had ordered the same jacket as you did, but in Navy I'm now nervous that it's going to be too small based on your write up. I will wait eagerly for its arrival.

lisap: It sounds as if we are built very, very similarly down to the words I use to describe my figure. Hmmm. I think I will let this beautiful jacket go to off to the lovely person who's yet to discover it.

I can't even remember what size I tried on -but I don't recall thinking it was any smaller cut than usual from JCrew. I think it works best on the Angies/Vivians/Suzs of the world - that body type.

It's a bit lighter than the j. crew one and on sale for $84 right now. I tried it on and a MP fit me perfectly.
