J Crew sweater blazer on sale--anyone tried it? Updated

I've been keeping track of these sweater blazers for weeks, maybe months, and they are on sale today. Just wondered if anyone here has tried them and what you think.

They supposedly run a bit large. I wonder if they are as big as the wool sweater blazers from 2-3 years ago. I got a small then and could have used an extra small.

I am 5 ft 2 hourglass with a strong shoulder line. I weigh 118 lb and have this sweater in an XS. My friend is also 5 ft 2 with slightly narrow shoulders, weighs 114 and liked the XXS.I am normally a size S at JCrew but do sometimes fit an XS while she is consistently an XS. I would say it fits just slightly large. Sadly, although we both love the look neither of us wore it much last winter, due to having to wear a longer coat.

Thanks DJP. This did help. This was on final sale--no returns or exchanges. I ordered the S in the burgundy, which actually looks more like a dark red to me rather than a blue-purplish red.

Since I am in the SF Bay area where it usually cools down at night I probably will have a lot of use for it.

I loved this sweater blazer and bought it TWICE trying to make it work. Sadly, it was just too much sweater for me.

The sweater arrived yesterday. It needs to be pressed, but here I am trying it out. The small is roomy. I love the color. I see J Crew has added another discount today, but they are out of smaller sizes in this color. One of these days I will try an XS. I am 5'7" and 145 and these days with most of weight around middle.

Late to this post, it looks nice on you. I have the same one in the same color . I have XS and it fits well . The arms are quite streamlined so I wouldn't be able to wear a bulky sweater under it. Definitely a dark red isn't it, certainly not burgundy.
