Yep, I think so. I have the yellow skirt and leopard pumps (to substitute for the hat and bag). And I have a cardi that I think I can wear buttoned up to approximate the pullover! (Thanks to my discovery of fashion tape to eliminate the between-buttons gappage!)

I was interested in those coats—the capelet one and the red one. Hmmm.....Not sure they would work on short (ish) me, but maybe worth another look.

I saw several inspiring combinations for the yellow skirt but like your idea best. The red/black/cobalt with yellow (pants in this case) and even the skirt shown with the hot pink and tomato red is a very golden brown, so almost yellow are ideas I'd like to try with my yellow skirt..

MaryK--we are on the same page, sister.
I just posted about feeling generally "meh" about the NAS and said that part of why I ended up returning almost everything I got was because I received the J. Crew catalog and was over the moon about so much in there!
I ordered that pencil skirt in 3 colors, several bright silk blouses, the wool capri pants in dahlia and blue, the leopard Valentina heels, some stiletto loafers and a few brightly colored blazers. Yowza. In my defense, I deliberately over order (WAY over order) form J. Crew, knowing I return a good 60-75% of what I order. But this was definitely the best collection from them in many seasons and had so many fab examples of color blocking that I can't wait to try!

Auburn, please post pictures when you get them!! I'm debating between the viridian skirt and the purple skirt right now (the NAS purple skirt is more the color I want but the fit was heinous).

I was particularly smitten with the emerald and purple combo with the hint of turquoise. The jaunty way the lops were layered reminds me of some of the ladies here!

J. Crew clothes are totally not cut for my body, even though in general I am not hard to fit. It's still fun to check out their looks, perhaps even more so since my fingers don't have to twitch.

I liked a lot of it. Particularly loved the Navy Capelet outfit with the yellow pants (could work with the Halogen yellow skirt), orange sweater... and the fuschia and orange combo. You could also do the turquoise v neck with your yellow skirt. Love that too.
