Hi ladies,

I'm nervous! I ordered two pairs of white jeans today - the Levi's Classic Demi Curve Straight leg. They only had one pair left in one of the sizes, so I jumped in and ordered both the sizes I considered. The shop offers free returns, so I hope I'm safe in regards of unnecessary expenses.

How do you pick a size for jeans online? I really hope one of these is the right choice for me! I've never tried ordering much at all online, but that might be about to change.

do they have the demi curve in white now? Oh dear, that I have been waiting for. Can I ask what site you used?

I haven't ordered anything but radoute and ellos about 5 years back and since I returned most of it for poor material quality and sizing, I haven't tried again. Plus there is no cash return, just credit which is a poor deal when you are already turned off the brand. But I am tempted by Zalando which pops up here as an ad. Free returns in postage, which Ellos didn't have I think.

Done and ordered! thanks Ingunn! I love having a pair of jeans where I know the size and style that will fit! Good thing I bought my first pair over Christmas! Glad for the recommendation of Zalando. I am eyeing a tux blazer and a striped blazer from them....but I just don't know my size now, or in 3 months. So sigh, will have to wait on those for a while

In the US, most on line retailers include size measurements. I had a really tough time measuring myself, so I looked up the measurements of a brand that works for me. I then check the sizes on every brand. In the US, depending on brand, I have taken anywhere from a size 10 (gotta be vanity sizing) to a 22 (whatever the opposite of vanity sizing is).

Good! I'm glad you found your size, Jayne. Since I plan to return one of the jeans, I'm a bit nervous about that. The reviews of their customer service is mixed, and in fact quite a few advice against using them at all. I bought two different garments from them in December, and both came within reasonable time. I found the choice of box a bit awkward, sine a dress came squeezed into a tiny box, and a running jacket came in a huge one with bubble wrap, but otherwise, everything was good about the experience.

Thistle, it is the same here. I have another pair in this brand and almost the same cut, so I suppose I can expect some similarity in sizing.

Gosh, if I feel frustrated sometimes at the difficulty of online ordering in Canada, it sounds 10 times worse where you are. I hope this works out for you. It does simplify shopping when you can order things that you know will fit, especially replacement items.
