I run a network for teachers on a Ning platform. It is four years old and has 10 000 members, which is huge by Norwegian standards. The Ministry of Education in Norway regards it as an important platform for sharing information, knowledge and develop various competencies and skills (tied to ICT in schools in particular) among teachers and school administrators. Today I was offered an engagement as project manager to work on developing my network further! It means that I'm leaving teaching for a year. It also means going to the city two days a week to work in a a completely new environment - new office, new colleagues and a lot to learn. Exciting!

Going downtown more often means more fashion input, too
