Woo hoo!

Thank you Angie for creating your blog and your forum. And thank you to this amazing community. I would never have stuck around as long as I have if it wasn't for all of you being so wonderful, kind, friendly, insightful, caring... the adjectives are endless.

I wish I could write a better post to commemorate this occasion, but I've had a really suck day at work and at home (broken plumbing, grrr) so my brain is too fried to do it justice. I just didn't want the day to go by without noting the occasion.

Aw, thx Anne! But I intended this to be more like, er, a Mother's day post, than a birthday post. Where I thank the people that made me who I am, instead of the people who made me who I am sending me well wishes.

Count me as another who feels it has been a pleasure getting to know you on the forum. If it were not for Angie and Greg starting YLF we would have not met in a million years.
By the way I am always interested in reading what you write on the blog and forum. You have a very orderly approach to the issues and somehow your motherly love comes through when you give advice. Does that make sense? I bet your teen daughters adore you.

To celebrate my anniversary "week" (hee hee, I like that), last night I told a woman I met about this forum... she was complimenting what forever after will be know as the "banana bag," and the way I'd attached a brooch to my long pearl necklace (inspiration thanks to Angie's floral pin post yesterday!).

I usually don't tell people IRL about this forum, much less complete strangers I just met.... I always think of this as more of a best-kept secret, LOL. But it felt wrong taking all the credit!

I do hope she shows up.... maybe she is reading this now?
