Fill in the blanks - be it an item, silhouette, look, or colour you'd like to see back at retail and on trend RIGHT NOW.

I'm going with turquoise/tiffany blue - another of my favourite colours, but VERY hard to find at retail. Impossible just about. It's all teal, and not turquoise. Huge difference.

I do have my Furla that keeps me going....and gorgeous vintage crockery that my late Mum had custom-made in the '70s (I inherited it - see pics). We eat from it quite regularly.

I also would love to see chocolate brown make a strong comeback - not for me, but for clients and friends.

I'm colour focused.

Ooh I love turquoise. I have jewelry and finally had to retire a favorite blazer that was showing age but have not been able to replace it due to lack of availability.
I'd like to see non-distressed, non-skinny jeans and heeled (1-2 in) loafers that have style (don't look like nun shoes)

Ha, Angie, both of those shoes are on my spring wish list. And I have a lovely turquoise silk blouse (will attach the find when I get home).

In my case, I wish for more accessories, especially bags, with silver hardware. So many nice brands these days do gold only - Furla, Kate Spade, etc.

I am with you. Please bring back tourquoise. All I have for tourquoise now are accessories: a clutch, some Native American jewelry I bought when my sister lived in NM in the late 80s. I bought the pieces at the Plaza in Santa Fe. I have a tourquoise sea glass ring, that is bordering on teal. Tourqouise is a happy color and pairs so well with tomato red!
I would also like to see more chocolate brown. I have a couple of fab chocolate brown handbags, but I would love a chocolate brown jacket or structured cardi. I would pair it with tourquoise AND tomato red!
I am really happy to see so many companies using gold, silver, rose gold and bronze metals for hardware. Diversity is always a beautiful thing.
Here is a blouse I found and some jewelry I have that are as close to tourquoise as I can get for now.

I would like to see:

1) Well made well cut work trousers - I think they are slowly returning.
2) Less polyester chiffon (that could be a bit negative)

This season I have been pleased to see the return here of:

1) Earth colours and also red and green. The colour range is actually much improved with lots of burgundies, teals, olives, forest greens, yellows, reds, pinks, browns, blues and of course black, white and grey. I have not seen a lot of lilac but suspect we will see that in early spring drops.
2) Midi dresses
3) Non distressed denim

I also would be happy to see chocolate brown and turquoise (from about 1999 to 2005 I wore a lot of chocolate brown and turquoise together).

Ha! I was thinking, brown needs to come back, before I saw you last paragraph. I have gotten two teal blouses this year, and am enjoying the color, but you are so right, it isn’t the same as turquoise. I guess I’m color focused, also. I also miss a certain raspberry shade that looks really good on me. Haven’t seen any for awhile.

I would love to see chocolate brown make an appearance. I am also looking for jeans that don't have distressing, whiskering, holes, etc. but are not dark denim. And footwear that is comfortable and looks fab.

I love turquoise and would be happy to see more of it.

I'm all for a return of turquoise-- it was one of my most worn colors between 2003 and 2006. I have a series of ID photos from several years that all feature me in a turquoise shirt.

Angie, I don't have anything enviable in my closet, but I think you might have to send Spider Sam to my house for a visit. My little guy passed away just shy of 15 years old in January and I've been missing my Yorkie boy terribly.

I definitely agree that there could be more brown in retail. Mostly I've been enjoying this era of variety though . . . although this year is much more "more" than the few previously. I'm still adjusting, but I think my eye is finally coming around.

Angie, I am with you on the turquoise and chocolate brown. I would also like to see the return of taupe as a summer neutral and peach. Also, it is time we saw more two piece dresses. Whew! That’s a long wish list.

More warm earthy neutrals eg brown, tan, warm taupe, stone (I can't wear stone near my face by I like it in accessories).
More rust.
Less polyester, especially in summer items.
More dressy shorts (with some length).
More 100% cotton tees for summer (even 5% elastane makes me hot).
More abstract patterns.
More ombre!

But I agree with Sally that there is a lot more colour at retail here than there was a few years ago. Very pleased about that.

I’m pretty happy with this seasons colours I must say..... lilac, beautiful emeralds and plenty of crimson.
However I would also like to see:
-Normal sleeves on tops
-Duck egg blue
-More 100% silk tops
-Hot pink!! Where has it been?
-Bring back the velvet! Seems like it only lasted one season.... mores the pity

YES to Sal and others - there is MUCH more variety then there used to be. I'm not complaining. Thank goodness it's FINALLY a mainstream midi season. It has taken SIX years to hit retail.

And I'm loving turquoise lately too. I likely won't be adding any to my regular wardrobe because I'm afraid it would be a passing fancy. I do have it coming in workout gear though

I'm nodding my head to a lot of these suggestions and adding modest scoop neck tops and ribbed layering tops. For some reason I have trouble finding those. Also wine colored items -- not burgundy.
