Thanks Suz . I know you have the experience with the grey transitioning . Mine will be a lot more salt/pepper than yours - I think . I’m a little scared to cut it too short , although it would make it so much easier . The Uber short pixie look is not very flattering to/ on (?) me and I’m very aware DH absolutely hates it when my hair is too short . Not that his opinion is everything , but I have to give the man something he thinks he can influence I can see a lot of hat- wearing in my future .

Really nice! I think tailored looks suit you so well.

Are you wearing lipstick? I think that this, whether lipstick or your natural color, is very flattering, and you could try to emphasize it.

You look like a million bucks, but are your feet cold?! (In 18 short months, I've become a cold-weather wimp. It was 88F/31C here yesterday.)

I can't WAIT to see you with your natural hair. Mostly because I suspect the ease of not worrying about hair coloring will show through. Seeing more of that ease out of you every week, it seems, and I think that's amazing.

I love this look! You look great!

Wow! Just perfect on you! I think a lot of us are in the accepting of the grey hairs mode these days.

Jenn you make me laugh . It’s cold here but I was in and out of my car all day . Not waiting for the bus in a snowbank - or whatever you think we do up here - hahaha.

I am really leaning into a more natural look lately - to use the trendy term - and feel it works with my age and lifestyle . No judgment from me for those who choose otherwise , but wearing a mask everywhere but at home renders lipstick redundant . And from a long -time lipstick wearer - it was a big change . But I now find lipstick and lip liner etc too much , and even if we are permitted to go maskless, I don’t see that changing . A little lipgloss is enough now - which to Sloper’s question is all I have on in the photo

Beautiful outfit. I love how you look and am going to try to copy you.

Ok, well I don't see any grey yet, but I am sure you do. I won't say the transition is easy but it will go faster with your relatively short hair, and the demarcation between blonde and grey is much less severe than it is when you have been dying your hair your original very dark brown (like me). Yes, don't go too short (do as I say, not as I do!). Not because I don't think it would look good, but one adjustment at a time.
Anyway, love the blazer and loafers on you. I wear blazers frequently and have not worked in a blazer environment ever. Love the structure they provide and easy to dress down with jeans.

You look amazing. The dark neutral jackets will look fabulous with your natural hair.

Who cares what the other kids are wearing, this is authentic to you and therefore powerful. Great advice from Shevia about going grey.

Wow, this polished casual classic look suits you so beautifully. I love the black blazer and loafers with the cropped dark-wash jeans. Your hair is looking fantastic, too.
Unlike you, I'm not enjoying the bare lip or tinted lip gloss era. I look forward to going back to lipstick!
Good luck with the hair color transition!

Fabulous look - love all the gold touches ( the cute earrings, buttons on the stylish blazer, buckles on the fancy loafers )!
You look perfect!
On the natural hair - I'm still doing highlights or semi-permanent colors. Just trying to stretch the time between appointments ( and save some money too ).

You look gorgeous, this is one of your best looks. It is so great to wear and enjoy the nice items in your closet even if you are simply running errands. I just find myself feeling more upbeat when well dressed and so I do it for me. Nice to see the new BR wrap top in action, such a great style on you.

I have been on team hair colour since my high school days, but must say that YLF forum members make a very compelling case for being natural and looking stylish and younger with their silver highlights. I am sure you will look Uber stylish with your natural hair too.

A good blazer always makes the look sharp- and here is that even looking better with all your other things wearing! Hair will look gorgeous-you always have a great cut and so will look even more edgy in a salt and pepper!

Such a chic look and I love those loafers. Timeless, modern elegance:). And best of luck with your hair. I’m doing the same and it’s a challenge!

This is a GREAT look on you. What perfect use of a blazer. I get treated much better when I dress with a bit of “authority.” Will be interesting if you notice any difference between that & a casual look.
I agree with Suz & Shevia. The transition is rough for lots of people in the beginning. But your hair is short so it will transition very (relatively) quickly! The first three months were the worst for me. Lots of info on this online if you search, & lots of great videos on youtube if you search gray hair transition. Lots of women have recorded their process. Some women use root spray or powder until the gray is a little longer. Once that happens it looks more intentional.
Literally everyone says their hair is so much healthier and even better-they all say they have new hair growth where there wasn’t before! They will look like broken hair or crazy flyaways at first.

Excellent blazer and loafer game! I stopped coloring my hair a year ago. I find it hard to let go of my identity as a brunette but I am getting there. It helps that a lot of the calico color is underneath. Good wishes for your color transformation

You look amazing! What color manicure did you get?

Gillian - thank you I’m into neutrals right now so a very classic layered ( 2 tone) pinky - shell shellac . I’m extremely neurotic about nail colour- haha.

Fab blazer, fab shoes!

Lovely blazer Can't help with the grey hair situation unfortunately - I've been going grey since 16 years old! If I tried to touch up my roots every time they like through, I probably wouldn't have any money for clothes by now
