Here is the anti-score-- some things I tried in Dec that didn't work but maybe are part of learning what does, and may include items someone else may be interested in:
AT jumpsuit--yes, that whole idea may have been bad. Was for dressy capsule. The appeal for me is that they are typically high-waisted but with some drape and taper in the legs. But, I can never manage the usual sleeveless and/or V-neck styles. As seen in the Find, this one amazingly had sleeves and high neck, which of course may be sort of the anti-jumpsuit. No pics, but it actually looked about on target from the front, was a tad skimpy in the rear, and the quality was so-so, and overall didn't give the look desired. I think it helped to try it, and leads me back to separates.
Next, tried these EF flats in this putty color for spring. They ARE very soft, but the toe is too pointy for me, and the cuff was too loose, and I think this cuff width doesn't work for my ankles as well as narrower strap. But someone might want to try for the soft leather, flat style.
Next, not shown because it sold out so no Find, was an AT tuxedo-style long black skirt. I had tried it to see if it would be dressy-capsule-classic with some longevity. It fit pretty well, might need waist taken up, and is high-waisted, nice tuxedo band, fits kind of like a long pencil skirt but with a slight flare at the bottom, slight high-low hem and confirms that this type of skirt could be "my" formal skirt, paired with different dressy tops. BUT it has a back zipper that somehow, with the skirt material seams, was too heavy for the skirt fabric and it kind of makes this noticeable bump in the rear. In addition, they put pockets in it, how daft, so those seams also mess up the hipline. Pooh.
Last may the the escaped HEWI. I am still trying the black Adrianna Papell dress for just a basic slightly dressy dress-had to order different size(s) which have not arrived. But the killer is, it came in this purple color and all the smaller sizes are sold out. A long-sleeved, knee-length non-black, medium-color dress! See also Angie's Anthro find, which is intriguingly lovely but more midi-length and may be imaginary lifestyle for me, though I may try it on. If any one finds the AP dress in the Pansy color (size 4 or less likely 2), give me a shout!
