It's worth it in my opinion for the rewards and notes you get. I generally don't like store-specific cards but the Nordstrom card is one of the ones worth carrying an extra card in your wallet. Plus, I have the debit version so it isn't an extra credit card.
I ended up with the debit version because it doesn't do that credit ding (if I understand correctly) that retail credit cards do when you open them--and it links to my pre-existing bank debit card. So far I've just used it at the Rack
I have the debit version too because I wanted early NAS access and the points, but didn't want another credit card. It does put a pretty clear upper limit on what I can spend on NAS stuff, which is both good and bad. Not that I plan on going completely crazy, but let's just say I might be a little light on doing things like ordering multiple sizes at once to try.
How doe the debit card work? Is it linked directly to my bank like some type of pass through account? If so, I'm not sure how Nordstrom comes out ahead with it.
