Italian-brand cream booties?

Does anyone recall a recent post by Angie on a pair of ankle booties that were cream and textured, almost linen-like in their leather and they were from Nordstrom?

I've searched high and low on the Blog and Home pages and can't seem to find the link. If you know what I'm talking about, please let me know. I'm very interested. Thanks!

Carter, THAT'S it...the Giove. Thank you for finding it. Now, I just have to decide if I like the textured or the mesh-sided one along with figuring out the sizing since they aren't available in-store.

Vicki, I love how low the heel on the Giove is, and am going to try them on tomorrow. Anything specific I should notice about fit?

Oh, Marmee, thank you! I was just chatting with Nordstrom and they have them at the Grove and I was just there yesterday (but we didn't go shopping), and they aren't in-store here in O.C. Are you trying the textured or the mesh-sided booties? I'm thinking about the textured ones and because I'm a 7-1/2 and there is no 37-1/2, I'll probably order a 38. I have long narrow low-volume feet, so any feedback would be appreciated. Have fun shopping. Thanks!

I am going to see the textured ones, but I can try the mesh booties on as well. I will try on the 38 and 39, and I have a high volume foot, so it will only work on one of us!

These booties are not suited to high volume feet. I have had them on many clients. They will work with bunions though - but not if your feet are wide on top of that.

Thank you, Angie, for taking a look at this post! Well, that's good news for one of us (and I do have bunions, too, so while the feet aren't pretty, buying nice-looking shoes is the way to go). Oh, Marmee, why don't you give them a try anyway? They really are cute.

Vicki, I tried them on, and they fit me. I need to wear them around at home to see how they feel on my fussy feet, but I think they might work for me. Perhaps my feet aren't super high volume. I don't normally wear a wide shoe, just shoes that run wide.

Vicki, they are so comfy! I ended up buying the caramel color because it will bookend my hair well, but am now wondering if the lighter color would be more versatile. I briefly thought about buying both, but that seems kind of silly.

I'm not totally sure how I should wear them. I am trying them out in the house right now with some rolled boyfriends, but I'm not sure if they look right. I'm eager to see how you style them!

They look great on you and I love the stitching on the caramel ones. I had the same thought to "bookend" and that's why I ordered the lighter color.

Once I get them, I'll see how I want to style them and will let know. Marmee, I'm thrilled to hear they are so comfortable. They look buttery soft in your photo.

I've had these on my Nordies wish list for a while so I appreciate all the discussion. I can't decide on which color to order either so I am hoping everyone post some outfit pics. Do you all think these will work with dresses or are they more for pants?

Jeanie, nice to hear you like them, too, and when I get them,I'll try them several ways and post them. I liked both versions Angie showed as well as the colors. Like you, I'm hoping they'll work with both pants and dresses; now I have to wait for them to arrive. Hope Marmee can share her thoughts on this.

Jeanie and Vicki, I don't quite get how to wear them. I think you could wear them with a dress or a skirt, although my plan is to wear them with pants. I tried them with skinnies pulled over, and they looked fine, but what I don't get is whether they can be worn with rolled boyfriends. I thought they looked a little funny in my picture, but maybe there's another way to do it. Maybe I'll post asking...
