It works! (Product review: Eyenvy)

Has anyone else tried the eyelash conditioner called Eyenvy? I gave it a try. My eyelashes were okay, but I was finding the outer edges of my eyebrows seemed to be disappearing. My aesthetician volunteered that some of her clients were using Eyenvy with good results. (She doesn’t carry it, but knew a salon that does.).

The paperwork says that there will be improvement where there is hair, but hair won’t appear where there aren’t any follicles, and that it will take about 3 months to see results. After 6 weeks the difference on my eyelashes surprised me! The outer edges that were short have grown long, and the ‘normal’ length lashes are almost ridiculously long! I have reduced the application of mascara to one swipe of colour, and use the conditioner three times a week. The edges of my brows are marginally better, but not as much as I would like. I suspect I just don’t have the hair follicles any longer.

Though the product is spendy, it lasts a long time, and does work!

Have you tried this product? Have you tried a similar product?

ETA: When I searched for the product online, it appears that the business is closing down, and not rebranding, citing supply chain issues and copy cats

Thank you for this! I used latisse (?) for a bit when my derm was promoting it and it really worked, but was spendy. I saw a highly rated lash product talked about maybe here, during g Nordstrom sale a few years back and keep looking to find that brand, maybe this was it even. I may try it!

Well, that sounds promising…except for them closing shop!

I tried Rapidlash based on a recommendation here (which is available from Costco.) I was doubtful but am a believer now - my lashes were thinning and short. After a couple of months, they've filled in and I've had to trim a few stray lashes that just got too long. Granted, they're still shortish asian lashes but they've never been this full or this long!

Well this sounds very promising! I have a question though, do you know what happens if you stop using the product? Any detrimental effects other than cessation of lash/brow growth?

Ah too bad they are going out of business, you had me sold! I used the Rodan and fields version at one point but it was waaaay too expensive ... By the time the tax and shipping was added, it was close to $250!!

Merwoman, my experience with the R+F product was that there were no ill effects when I stopped ... If I understand correctly (??) these products just make your lashes fall out more slowly, so they have a chance to grow longer before they fall out ... It didn't seem that they fell out particularly fast after stopping though ... They just went back to normal.

I’m on my second tube of Revive7 and it’s crazy good . I was a skeptic for this kind of product but the owner of the nail salon I frequent gave me a really good deal in order to try it . I use it on my brows as well and it’s been good there too . I’ve also ordered and gone through a bottle of the hair oil , and while it arguably delivered results , one has to commit to it pretty much forever . Same with the lash serum , and while it’s “ only “ $50ish a tube , it hasn’t exactly changed my life - lol- so I think I’m done with reordering . It makes my lashes look really pretty but at what point is it one more thing to spend money on that has no lasting effect ?

I have one that's just Jamaican Black Castor Oil. Not sure if it made a difference in length. I still need mascara cause my lashes are light brown so don't show up.

Too bad the shop closed, sounded promising. My brows are also disappearing at the ends, I use a powder to fill them in but wouldn't mind trying something else.

Thanks for the review. Too bad they are closing. I have my brows and lashes tinted when I get to the salon. My lashes are not as long or thick as they once were, but I don't mind.

Oh, too bad they are closing. I'd love something that beefed up my brows but I suspect the follicles are gone there, too. Hmmm. I wonder if you can find a substitute -- such a pain to find something that helps only to see it disappear!

I use Revitabrow. I bought it in the Annual Nordstrom sale, figuring I could return it.

It has worked beautifully. I plan on buying again this year if they offer it. I have thick gorgeous brows again, even where they had started to thin on the outside.

Revitabrow, plus Refectocil dye, has been a total game changer for me.
