I find it pretty easy to transition now that I have a full fall and winter wardrobe carry over from our years in Taos. Needing gear mostly in retirement. Casualizing is wonderful, even if I long for a nice strict wool coat to attend imaginary future events.
In fact, I look a little formal for our neighbourhood, but do not mind. We all look like we are about to break out into yard work, lol.
Taking trips in RV and motor coach has solidified what works over changing climate.
Starts with cloth vest, to down vest, to jacket, a shacket, padded jacket, down jackets. Lurking are long down coat for the real winter mornings.
Realize am missing a real rain jacket, but had those and they never got wear. So, umbrella ☺️
