And it's the end of week--whatever. Today I'm doing some experimenting, some working with that golden ratio brought up by Toronto Girl.

I bought a few new things in February and early March—sales were already getting going. Items for spring not worn yet.

1)New Chico’s pants, orange—I guess this is orange. I don’t like to wear orange, so I’m going to call them light cinnamon? Look up color. Worn with new Boden top you’ve seen before. And those orange/coral sandals? I bought them a couple of years ago to wear with a Boden dress. They are uncomfortable. I haven’t worn them much, but now I’m experimenting with more pads. Kenneth Cole Gentle Souls.

2-3 Next I move to a skirt I bought. I was going to buy the matching top but I didn’t like the styles. Suz's 2-piece dress. I thought I'd get one in spring. But right now there isn’t anything at BR I can find. Skirt is polyester knit. Check The color is –a muted teal. Experimenting with ah—s golden mean. I have a lot of longer tops. I have 3 other skirts, all with patterns, so I wanted plain, but not black or gray.

4-5) With NAS 19 jacket—too prim. With a longer skirt I need a shorter top or jacket. Too dull. With black BR sweater. With N&Z cardibought 4 years ago.

6-7) White top bought last year for printed skirt, didn’t wear much. Better proportion. Alone and with teal N&Z cardi. Bought last year sale, not yet worn. End of summer. This goes better. Also my more casual jewelry goes.

8) With brown top inexpensive henley top from Macy’s to see if I should really shun brown. Too long, better to try with another color.

EF crepe travel pants. Some bloggers love these--une femme for example. I can't see that they are worth the price. But I'll give them a chance.

9) What I ended up wearing until I go out to garden: brown top with jeans, red cashmere cardi.

Hope I got the photos right. Any comments, especially re proportion. I realize in the mirror doesn't show exact relative distances.
